the melody deserves a post, i really love this four-line section for some reason it feels so cozy, damn. i’m really glad you added it three times, i remembered it even more than the chorus because it’s genuinely so good. thank you so much for your hard work, olivia! great song! i’ll spend this autumn with her!

a lil off beat but yk oh well PLS READ: I just want everyone who sees this to know how deeply loved you are, even on the days when you feel forgotten, unwanted, or like you are not enough. You are so much more important than you realize, and your existence has meaning in ways you may never fully understand. You are worth every good thing that comes your way, worth love that feels safe and genuine, worth friendships that stay, worth people who choose you without hesitation, worth kindness, patience, understanding, forgiveness, and all the beautiful things you sometimes convince yourself you do not deserve. I love you all so much, more than I could ever properly explain, and I hope you know that you never have to be perfect to be loved by me. You do not have to constantly be happy, strong, funny, beautiful, successful, or have everything figured out to deserve love and care. You are worthy simply because you are you. Every part of you matters okay? your laughter, your voice, your dreams, your flaws, your mistakes, your quiet moments, your struggles, your little habits, the things you are insecure about, and even the parts of yourself you are still learning to accept. Please never forget how much you bring into this world just by being in it. You have touched lives, made people smile, given someone comfort, created memories, and meant something to people in ways you may not even know. Even if you cannot see your own worth right now, I hope you can borrow the way I see you until you are able to see it for yourself. I hope you know that you are never a burden for needing reassurance, never too much for having feelings, never difficult to love because you are going through something, and never alone in the way you think you are. You deserve to be appreciated, protected, understood, and loved loudly and consistently. I am so grateful for every single one of you, for every memory, every conversation, every laugh, every moment, and for the fact that I get to know you and love you. No matter how much time passes, no matter where life takes us, and no matter how hard things get, I hope a part of you always remembers that you mattered to me and that you were loved by me.

As I attempt to connect with more singer-songwriters, another one I found and would love to give a shoutout to is @livhannaaa. Like many of her fellow singer-songwriters, she has faced many obstacles in her life and talks about how important mental health is to her and writes about those experiences in her songs. She has also had experiences related to heartbreak and having been through a heartbreaking friendship breakup myself two years ago, I can relate to her songs about heartbreak and as someone with autism, I am also a strong mental health advocate. I’m so happy I found Liv and I hope to meet her at one of her L.A. shows sometime! Love you so much, Liv!
