I just love August🎉

Building a new space is quite an undertaking with a million details. We work with such a sharp crew of architects, builders, electricians, designers, and staff. It’s a team effort!

Here are a few things we were looking at in the preschool and children’s spaces today:

- directional signage placement
- finalizing electronic check in placement
- diaper changing areas and safety railings
- fire evacuation routes
- safety railings
- design lighting placement
- adjusting check in table size and placement
- cabinets
- large group screen placement
- fake walls for design purposes
- jeep placement and size
- electricity where we need it
- wall backing where we need it
- ceiling strut in place
- a few design adjustments

It was so exciting to see it all taking shape.

I can already envision it FULL of preschoolers and kids!

Thank you @ecinsideout @410bridge @goglobalx for the amazing opportunity to serve the Chembulet community in Kenya. It was a life changing trip that I know will have a life long impact on my faith. The memories and friendships that I made will cherish forever. God is so good!🙌

I can’t express how much these past 10 days have changed my life. Seeing how well the community of Chambulet loves one another and the Lord has impacted me in ways I’ll never forget. I’ve never felt so welcomed in my entire life and I am so blessed I got the chance to experience what God is doing in this special place. These people truly impacted me more than I would’ve ever thought possible. They showed me that God is faithful all the time and worth praising even when faced with struggles. Working with this team was amazing and I’m so grateful to them for constantly showing up for this community and each other. This week was full of so many laughs, hugs, and special moments and I can’t wait to see what God will continue to do in Kenya!!🙌🩷🇰🇪🥑

When the Lord is on the throne, mambo sawa sawa!!! 🇰🇪💛🌾

Still at a loss of words from all the last 10 days has brought! Going into this week I had plenty of feelings of doubt, anxiety, and uncertainty of what was to come. Yet God remained faithful and answered prayers in more ways than I could have imagined!

He showed us His grace, presence, and pure love in each and every day- in the mountains we drove through, the songs we sang, the prayers we prayed, and most importantly, in the people we met in Chembulet, Kenya. This community was truly the definition of “love where you live.” They welcomed us with open arms, ready to see how we could grow and learn together in the presence of the Lord. And that’s just what we did! We collaborated at each of their different churches, made so many beaded bracelets, played lots of soccer, and even spent a whole day in the life with different families.

I thank God that He opened my eyes and my heart to all He is really capable of! The families and kids in Chembulet love each other and Jesus so well, and that was evident in the way they loved us. We got to be the hands and the feet of the Lord, but they also poured just as much into us. I believe God moved so strongly in each of our lives this week, and I can’t wait to see what He’ll continue to do! Thank you Kenya for loving us just as much as we loved you! #BWE 🥑🪨

This week I had the incredible opportunity to minister to the community of Chembulet in Kenya. I've made new friends, helped create sustainable community initiatives, and most importantly, been a lamp on a stand. Seeing the heart these people have for Christ is one of the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had, and I will never forget it.

Even in the hardest circumstances, Christ is present. Many thanks to the incredible community of Chembulet and my amazing team!

Chembulet, Kenya! What a special place you hold in my heart 💛

This week of service was filled with so much joy, empathy, and fun! Me and my team had the best week working with the children and visiting the family’s of Chembulet!

This community is one of the most loving and gracious places I’ve ever been too and they deserve the 🌍

SO grateful for this week and may God bless Chembulet!! 🦓💚🇰🇪🌈🦁
