Attention voters in Miami-Dade County! It is essential that you vote YES on referendum #210 so that our schools have adequate funding for TEACHERS and for SCHOOL POLICE. If this referendum renewal does not pass teachers like me will receive a drastic pay cut that will force many of us to quit teaching in this county since we won’t be able to afford to live here anymore. (Personally I already can’t afford this place as landlords are all raising the rents.) Worse, the district’s smaller budget may force them to lay off art teachers entirely since we know that the arts are typically the first thing to be cut when there’s not enough money to go around. Vote yes on 210 for the future of YOUR community.
