i’ve spent the last week searching for answers and mostly asking God why. why do bad things happen to good people? why do i have to let this go, why is this happening, why is life so unfair sometimes? i wish i had all the answers but i dont. i didn’t have the most ideal camp experience this year but if there is one thing i learned from camp it’s that God is bigger than our disappointment. the most difficult thing has been accepting that God has a plan greater than any of us can comprehend and he doesn’t work in our timing. dealing with the passing of my sweet friend has made it more evident than ever that we were put on this earth to love and help people and it’s so important that we do that. I am a reflection of Jesus so it matters how i treat people. although i don’t have all the answers, i continue to put my trust in Jesus even when i’m sad, angry, happy, confused, and in pain. he heals, he understands, he can handle all of our emotions, and he is always there for us. times are hard and life is not always easy but i pray that everyone experiences the love of God.🤍
