⚠️❤️ WARNING! WARNING! ❤️⚠️ 🌎❤️🎉 15 YEARS OF SERVING HUMANITY! 🎉❤️🌎 For over 15 years, I have lived out of a vehicle, my little school bus, my traveling home. Not because I couldn’t dream of having a house, but because I chose a life of freedom, compassion, and service. ❤️ 15 YEARS OF FEEDING PEOPLE 🍎 APPROXIMATELY 540 FEEDING EVENTS 💰 AN ESTIMATED $189,000 SHARED THROUGH FOOD AND SERVICE And that’s only part of my journey. 🎶 Playing music in the streets. 🧘 Teaching yoga, meditation, and breathwork. 🤲 Offering holistic bodywork. ❤️ Supporting my holistic community, sometimes gifting money from my own earnings. I have shared my time, energy, music, resources, and heart. I DON’T HAVE A CONVENTIONAL HOUSE, BUT I HAVE A HOME IN MY HEART. ❤️ And wherever I go, that home travels with me. I don’t share this for recognition. I share it to remind humanity that YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE WEALTHY TO ENRICH SOMEONE’S LIFE. I didn’t wait until I had everything to begin giving something. And the most magnificent part? I HAVE RECEIVED MORE THAN I COULD EVER GIVE. ❤️ Every smile, every hug, every connection has been a gift. I do this not because I have to, but because it’s my way of saying… 🌎❤️ THANK YOU, LIFE, FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE HERE! To everyone who has supported this journey, THANK YOU! ❤️ 15 YEARS OF LOVE, AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES. AS I AM GOOD TO YOU, MAY YOU BE GOOD TO ALL. ❤️ Chris Juan | Helping Healing Hands

About two weeks ago, I figured out my 35mm film camera is broken. It won’t be fixed for the foreseeable future: yet another strange, abrupt goodbye under 2025’s belt. An extraordinarily kind friend/mentor has put another one in a box & mailed it my way & I am already eager for the adventures I’ll have with that when it arrives. But in the meantime, I wanted to reflect on (possibly) the last year I had with the camera that has helped me learn to see. Here are (many of) my favorite captures on film from 2025. I love them because they’re great shots or great memories or both or for some other reason. I’m putting the context for each in the comments — I took most of them, but I’ve noted when I didn’t. I’m missing some good ones because they’re private to someone other than me, which is a privilege of being a photographer & also, as I learned this year, sometimes an enormous & strange weight. For all of it, I’m glad to have been a witness. Here’s to seeing even more in 2026 🤍🎞️✨

Still taking it all in. 🥺 So grateful for everyone who came out to support — your presence, your love, your belief meant more than I can put into words. To the cast: thank you for being such incredible humans and such a joy to work with. This film debut has been everything it’s been because of your talent, patience, and care for one another. Truly special. And to my friends, emerging leaders, and colleagues — this experience has been blessed because of you. You’ve shown up for me in ways big and small, and I carry that with me as I continue to grow. Thank you for being part of this moment and this journey. 💛🎬 Cinematography @tristangellatly Props @thea.kegler Sound Editor @derick.evans Production Support @lorsenwelles Performed by @livvlong @leejay____ @cobaltbluecowboy @nopeaches @robbie_roughneck Frankie Mills @kyla.kegler @kayleah.aldrich Cora Brown Alyssa Capri @samgier4 @thea.kegler @lorsenwelles @sils_the_schmuck jazzthor @way2wavybaby

friends! earlier this year I participated in a film by @kyla.kegler, and it’s premiering next friday, december 12 at the @buffaloakgartmuseum ! COME SEE 👀 - “The Accumulation of Meaning Over Time” Lipsey Auditorium Doors at 6:30 PM | Screening at 7 PM Followed by a conversation between Kyla Kegler and Assistant Curator, Special Projects - @_here.not.here FREE The Accumulation of Meaning Over Time was made possible by the Mellon Foundation-funded Communities of Care Project and NYSCA, with support from @rivalryprojects and @squeakybuffalo. The film is a lyrical exploration of how understanding of self deepens with age, and how collective meaning gathers across generations, bodies, and images. It is an ode to the treasure hunt of growing older-to the gradual realization that what moved us as children was not fleeting naiveté, but the first glimmer of lifelong motifs that orient how we move through the world. Drawing from personal narration, Jungian theory, and the history of experimental media art in Buffalo, the film weaves these threads into a meditation on memory, inheritance, and becoming.
