Helloooooooo Sigmates!!!! I am Liya – a 1st year Chemistry student – and I was nominated as Sigmate of the week, something I am HONOURED to do, so I am here to show u my 3rd week here at RU (and a little yap) <3
Firstly, Monday started with a very fun beginning (not at all biased) of the epic and cool Meet the 49th board lunch! Post class, I went to the shops and outside de Appie, I made a new friendddddd 🥰 However, I brought too much 🥲, but I biked home well acclimated to the Dutch ways and (thankfully) did not fall off my bike. That night ended with me trying… pole dancing! Very fun! Weeee!
Tuesday was spent at home as I have quite sick as of late, where I just stayed in bed, DJed a little, and made dinner with my roomie :)
An 8:30 start on Wednesday led to a quick descent to madness, especially ending it with CA tutor, but all is fine because Sigma 1st year bingo was there to save the day!! Some fun was defos had as clearly seen with Lonneke and her gift of sock (yes singular sock lol)
Thursday consisted of doing my CA prep form, complaining about my CA prep form, and again, doing my CA prep form, but at least I was not doing it alone. My Freundin Lara was there in our time of need, plus we were #twinninggg 😛
Finally Friday labbbbbb!!! I made sure to get a super stealthy selfie of us in our super swaggy labcoats. After that, I was beyond grateful to be in bed watching the TSITP finale (11/10; Team Bonrad from day 1 🙏) and some stargazing ✨ out the window to end my night 💤
The weekend was meant to consist of me catching up on some work but… procrastinating got the best of me 🥸 Instead of biochem and SAM, I found watching movie number 67 of the year and watching Max Verstappen get his 67th win sounded a whole lot better to me :))
With that, my week was over (and if u read ALL of that, I thank u 💗)
Lots of love,
Liya
