7 years of the sport i love, over just like that. volleyball wasn’t my first sport and i would’ve never thought it would mean as much as it does to me now, when i had first started. but i knew i’d dread for this day to come from the very beginning. there will never be enough words to truly describe how much volleyball means to me. volleyball has taught me so much about myself, life, and the people around me. i will always cherish the teammates i shared the court with, coaches that pushed me and believed in me, and the friends and family that have supported me. i wouldn’t trade anything in the world for the long tournament days, late nights, early mornings, and 5 set games. i have no clue what i’d do without this sport. volleyball has been such a constant in my life and something i could always count on. this sport has been so rewarding and challenging at the same time. it is so much more than a game to me, and walking away from it is something i don’t think i’ll ever be fully ready for. If i could do it all over again, i wouldn’t change a thing. thank you volleyball for giving me some of the best memories, best friends, and being something to look forward to. thank you dchs for letting me wear “dickson county” across my chest for the past 4 years. thank you to all my coaches for trusting and believing in me. thank you to my teammates for allowing me to share the court with you and make the best memories. finally, thank you to my family for supporting me and allowing me to play the sport i’ll always love. #4 & #9 signing out.

7 years, 10 seasons, and so many memories. I am forever grateful for this sport. I can’t believe this chapter of my life has ended, but I’m so excited to see what life throws my way next. This sport had tested me in more ways than one, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m thankful for all of the long tournament days, 5 set matches, and beautiful challenges that ended with growth. Whether it was school, travel, or beach volleyball, I had the time of my life. Volleyball will always hold a special place in my heart! 🏐❤️
