I said it more than once and I’ll say it again;
impromptu after work dinners are the best
especially when I’m with my lovely wife @lizatattoos!💗
Thank you @thewrendanforth for the amazing hospitality as usual 💕

Today, September 27th, 2026, is my oldest and best friend André Taylor’s birthday.
I’ve known André since grade school in 1984, and I have the pictures to prove it.
It’s all about the evidence my friend.
📸
Here are some pictures of our Labour Day 2026 annual get together at André’s and (his wonderful wife, and our dear friend) Rochelle’s, home.
Pictured are their amazing kids and their endearing friends.
All lovely, smart and respectful people, every single one of them.
We were blessed to have been part of many interesting conversations with them.
Happiest of birthdays to you André, thank you for being an amazing friend for the majority of my life, much love and respect to you always♥️

We had a great time at @torontoflea today and also @lesliemarket as well.
Everything was in walking distance including @slowhandsourdough 🍕 (which ironically we had delivered to us for last nights dinner)😂
Eat this pizza folks.
It is now #1 on my top 5 best pizzas list🥇
I love our little neighbourhood.

Story time!

When I was 18 I hitchhiked from Toronto to Salt Spring Island BC. I got a job as a dish washer at the Tree House Cafe. I lived in a tent at Blackburn Lake. I was there for 3 months or so.

I worked with this lady who seemed to have a different job she was going to after her shift everyday. (One of those jobs was decorating these beautiful artisan cheese wheels) One day I asked her why she didn't just go full time at the THC? She told me that her brain didn't like to work one job. She needed more stimulation and variation in her life.
It was the first time I had ever heard of someone deciding to work like this.

Years went by and I struggled to be happy with one job but I was always miserable. I hated the same walls, the same ppl, the same tasks. Then I remembered The Cheese Lady as I've come to call her, and thought "Holy shit! I'm a cheese lady".

I made changes in my life and created a life full of diverse jobs and I've never been happier.

This tattoo is my homage to being a Cheese Lady and I'll look at it everyday and I'll remember that I don't have to squeeze into a box.

Get @reshare_app • @lizatattoos Portrait of sweet boy Pip! His favourite treat was strawberry tops so we of course had to incorporate some strawberries in the design. And I couldn’t resist sharing not only the reference pic of this handsome guy, but also one of him in his princess dress, so stinkin’ cute. Thank you so much Aurelia!
