POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I didn’t have the money to ride growing up, I still didn’t when I started learning for my job. I was told I would never be good enough, I started too late…and somehow 6 years later I own a horse, have ridden on film sets, and have been featured in global press articles with horses.

If I can reject the notion of “too late” to learn and make it my actual job. So can you.
Keep doing the thing.

The inaugural Full Tilt Jousting: Origins tournament brought together jousters from across the world to compete, showcase their skills and help shape the future of the sport of modern jousting.

I was proud to play a small part in the event through the visual media for broadcast, capturing audio and creating graphics to capture some of the incredible moments that made this weekend so special.

Now, the dust has settled I've had chance to look back on the experience in my latest blog; sharing the story behind Origins and the incredible community that came together for this epic event!

This is the full film. (You will also find the full version over on my YouTube Channel - and trust me, I created this for the TV screen!)

The opportunity that turned into a summer side quest. Not totally complete but super happy with how it’s turned out. Completed in 100% reclaimed wood and the roof with our new Steel Hut UK roof sheets (go to SteelHut.co.uk)

Thanks to everyone who’s stepped in over the last few months to help get the saloon completed for winter!

Can you tell this was part of the jump off? 🤪🚀
Milky absolutely flying on his way to 2nd place in the discovery yesterday at Arena UK major championships. 🥈
A true testament to how amazing he is, considering we’ve not been in the ring since May and I’ve only jumped him once in the 4 months since then 🙈
So despite him being a bit fat and unfit and us both being super rusty he tried his little heart out for me.
This placing qualified us for the final today which we jumped but just rolled a pole towards the end of the round. Next time we train a bit 🙈

What more could you want on your birthday than messing about with your friends, such a fun few days celebrating @lizdc_stunts and my birthdays a couple of weeks ago, playing mounted games with the horses, going on fun hacks, playing games in the garden then an incredible morning at the beach with us all riding bridleless and swimming with the horses in the sea, just the best few days ❤️
