I'd like to reflect on our Family dog, Selah Kahulani. Her name means, "reflection, and praise" as well as "heavenly protector." She lived for over 70 dog years.

My oldest daughter took care of her, nurtured her, and loved her, when we moved back to Hawaii. Selah continued to be a protector and guardian for my daughter and her family. This gave me an extra sense of peace knowing that 150 lb battle dog (Kane Corso) was protecting her in the mainland.

My heart goes out to my family, especially my oldest and her family. Selah was a member of our family and will be well missed. Aloha 'oe Selah Kahulani. We love you.

STEM lessons at Pu’u Kukui✨

I spent the day with the 4th graders at Pu’u Kukui Elementary School, exploring the topics of science and engineering through the construction of Solar Powered Robots! They were able to learn about the flow of energy and how important it is to create a sound vessel for that energy. As a woman in STEM, it was an honor being able to spark interest in the leaders of the future!!

As this Holiday season comes to a close…🎄🤍

Mahalo @makanakeiki for allowing me the opportunity to volunteer for a cause that leaves an everlasting impression! Makana No Nā Keiki was an event that provided fun, entertainment, and distributed gifts to the keiki of Maui, in honor of the ohana affected by the Maui Wildfires.

To bring joy to their day was a memory I will cherish forever!

Big Brothers Big Sisters Trunk or Treat-Boba Tea Toss. A fun evening of treats, games and seeing past and present Pu’u Kukui students 🎃♥️ (and the shirts came out pretty cute after the initial disaster 🤪)

After I’ve completed my first rehearsal for Miss Teen USA, I am taking the time to reflect on my send off party!!

I will say it a million times, but I am so grateful and honored to be in the position I currently am in! Representing not only Hawai’i, but my home, Maui, is a blessing in it self. But honestly, I couldn’t have gotten here without my ohana and lāhui; they have been by my side through every moment and are the place I fall back too. I want to take a moment to show them my aloha and appreciation. I love you guys!!👑🤍
