Happy Graduation of High School and First Semester of College,

Graduation for me is so much more than just finishing school; it is proof that I kept going through every inconvenience that tried to convince me not to. Through every version of myself I had to lose, every moment I felt broken, and every time life felt so unbearably heavy, I still found a way. These past few years taught me that growing up is not about having everything figured out; it is about learning how to carry your pain without letting it consume you. It is choosing yourself even on the days when that feels impossible, and it is realizing that healing is not linear. I have learned that life can fall apart and still somehow come back together. That there is light even after the darkest moments. That you can grieve and grow at the same time. And maybe most importantly, I learned that becoming yourself is not about perfection, but living life to its fullest.

To everyone who stayed beside me through the hardest moments of my life, thank you for loving me through every version of myself. Your support carried me farther than you will ever know. Especially my girls of ΦΡ, they were the chrysanthemum petals who guided me onward and upward through it all. ✨🏹

And to my lovely mom, I hope I make you proud every single day. I carry pieces of you with me in everything I do. Losing you changed me forever, but loving you will too. I love you so much it hurts.

Although I walked at graduation yesterday, I already began my next chapter months ago at Augustana, and it has been the best decision of my life. For the first time in so long, I have found a place that truly feels like home. The people I have met, the experiences I have had, and the love I have been surrounded with there have changed me in ways I cannot even fully explain yet. Augustana has given me more than just a new beginning; it has given me happiness I never thought I would feel again. To my perfect Phi Rho girls and every person who has made Augie so special for me, thank you for helping me rediscover myself and for showing me what it feels like to truly belong.

The younger version of me would never believe we made it here, but we did. ❤️
