FCCLA…wow
Thank you so much for being my home over the last 4 years. I found who I was, what I loved and would not have achieved it without the organization. To think 4 years ago I switched into an FCS class bc it was the only one open and that lead me to join FCCLA and start this journey. And now named the member of the year, how crazy the journey has been. As I take of my blazer for the last time I want to say a few thank yous and reflect on my time in FCCLA.To my staff and advisers- thank you for everything. Thank you for taking things I turn in way too late, for sticking by my side through thick and thin, for building me up to be the member I am today. Without all your hard work and dedication I would not be standing here as an officer, a member, and I most definitely would not have gotten this far. Thank you for providing a space to thrive and lead while not dimming my light or changing who I am to fit a mold.

To my chapter- thank you all so much for giving me a reason and always being my biggest cheerleaders. Who guys were my first home and will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss the lock ins, the late nights, crazy adviser adventures, and seeing you all every day. I would not have gotten this far without such amazing members like you.
To Wisconsin FCCLA- thank you for providing a space to thrive. I got to expand my journey and foster my passion because of the strong association present in our state. All the members that I have met traveling as apart of the 78th council was unreal. Hearing your stories, your passions, your goals has changed the way I view not only the organization but my entire life. Thank you for making my time as state VP of engagement so memorable.
To my teams I’ve served with- Thank you all for challenging me, serving along side me, and creating amazing teams. The hard work you have all put in is so amazing and I can not believe I was fortunate enough to serve with you all. You continue to inspire me to be a better leader. (And always having a funny story somehow related to ice cream)➡️

State Track and Field Recap‼️

Friday➡️

Lizzy runs in the Division 2 1600, and finishes with a time of 5:17.56! Lizzy placed 15th overall!

Katelyn competed in long jump and placed 11th overall! She jumped 17-0.50!

Katelyn also then ran the 400 and advanced to finals, with a time of 59.01!

Saturday➡️

Katelyn ran in the Division 2 400 finals! She ended with a PR and New School Record of 58.40 seconds! She then placed 8th overall!

Maddie makes podium placing 4th overall in the Division 2 Pole Vault! She vaulted 11’6!
