There was lots of LOVE 💕 and #PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈 in the air last Saturday! Thank you to all the Youth Leaders who came out last weekend to decorate, organize, and serve our food insecure neighbors at a very special #PrideMonth themed pantry at @ascension107 Church. Every year we are so grateful to the Ascension Pantry and the Youth Volunteers who truly embody the message that EVERYONE IS WELCOME! 🌈💕

Special thank you to our friends and partners at @woolcofoods for the donation of 60 cases of fresh cucumbers! 🥒 💕

Thank you also to an anonymous donor who sent rainbow and pride-themed gifts for the kids waiting in line with their families to access the pantry’s critical food assistance program.

“Softball isn’t just about a bat and a glove for us, it’s also about the community and life lessons it teaches you” - Youth Leader Nicole Santos-Peña. Alongside her sister Valeri, Imagine Superstar Nicole is fundraising for an incredible opportunity to travel to North Carolina for a softball experience. As Nicole tells us, she’s “working toward something bigger than the game.” The opportunity is “getting a real look at what my future could be, training, competing and visiting a college campus.” Nicole was a longtime contributor to our beloved Imagine Newsletter who created and shared some incredible artwork and writing over the years. Now it’s time The Imagine Society community help her and this very deserving group of young people achieve their dreams! Please check out the links below and QR code on the graphic to make a donation. Anything you can donate is incredibly meaningful in both the amount and the representation of community and caring support.
