Coming soon: a commentary on masking.

Stoked to finally be sharing our project for the @vfcreatives spec challenge this Friday.

VFX & Edit: @graynmedia
Music & SFX Assets: @uppbeatofficial

As part of the project, we wanted to experiment with various social assets to support distribution so we can provide more value to our clients moving forward. Inspired by recent campaign rollouts, we created this VFX teaser. Let us know what you think and hope you enjoy the film when it’s out!

Turn the sound up for our 30-second vertical Director’s Cut for @nespresso

We love the energy of a quick, punchy cutdown, but the full vision deserves a bigger screen. See the complete Director's Cut on our website. Best experienced with headphones.

It May have been the best month yet✨☀️

A little bit of sunshine, a lot of family time, and some unforgettable core memories. This month felt like a breath of fresh air.

A little camera roll dump of the moments that made me smile lately 🤍

Sano - The Director’s Cut

As we look back on this project, we come away proud at how we pushed ourselves to go above and beyond at every step. The ambitious studio shower set build, the rigging to pull off the on-location scenes, and the 3D renders and composites to realize the vision. We learned so much throughout this project and we look forward to bringing the lessons learned to all our future productions.

One final thank you to the talented team behind this project! And thank you to @leclairhomeofficial for trusting us with the vision.

On to the next one!

Congratulations to Jordan, Ryan, and the team at @drinkjuso on their launch of Ju’So 2.0!! 🥳

We had such a great time with them in our studio for a mix of product & branding images, perfect for an updated website and product launch assets!

We absolutely loved the design on the cans and hope to get them in front of our cameras again in the near future. And after they left a variety pack for us at the studio… we can confirm that they taste amazing too 👏

Thanks for stopping by @drinkjuso 🙌

Big week for the team at Super Boba! Launching their long awaited boba product to go along with their line of healthy bubble tea alternatives.

We had such a great time with them in our studio last weekend getting some shots of their new product along with some power couple portraits 👏 Vanessa and Leon always bring the energy!

Congratulations on the product launch from all of us at GRAYN Studios! Looking forward to seeing you all at our new studio in South Vancouver ✨

Even a 30-second commercial can carry the weight of a real story.

AOD student @bysydneyfacey proving that a small crew and a clear concept is all you need to create something beautiful.

“I was brought on to this spot by my friend Joon, someone I met through a mutual friend from AOD! He wanted to try something slightly different than what they had made in the past with this client, and he brought me on to help refine the concept, write the script, and direct the piece.

It was just the two of us. Coming from AOD, I’ve learned how to build concepts around scale. Especially when you need to stay nimble with a two-person crew.” - Sydney
