Life lately feels like a dream. Dream job, dream girl, dream car. The biggest blessing of all? Being closer to God than ever before. Storms still come, but Jesus is my firm foundation. Everything I have is by His grace. Thank you, Father. May my life always be a testimony of Your goodness.

This Christmas filled my heart in ways I can’t fully put into words.
Time with loved ones, genuine connection with friends and family, and growing closer to God has broken down walls I didn’t believe could be broken.

I feel lighter. More peaceful. More grounded.
So deeply thankful for every person, every moment, and every lesson that brought light into my life this year.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

This Christmas is proof that God prevails.
And this is only the beginning. 🙏🏼

You know I’ve lost so many fucking people but this one is the one that hurts the most. October is always the worst month of my life since the day I got the call that you killed yourself. Was it getting blown up in Afghanistan? Was it our parents ditching all of us to foster care because they couldn’t get clean? Did someone hurt you or break your heart? You jumped 12 stories so it had to be something horrible. Why didn’t you call me? I always pick up the phone at night because of that. It breaks my fucking heart that I lost my twin sister to “the cause” or whatever. We wore the Stars and Stripes on our shoulder making us double twins. Did you die for the cause? Did the enemy take your soul from you? What happened? I just don’t understand but, at the same time, I can relate. Especially in September and October. You’d be so proud of me and I’m sure you are sitting with the man upstairs smiling down. Or perhaps up with your mean ass 😂 My poor sissy it’s been too many years. Wish I could call you from all the way down here. Tell you all the news and you could tell me all about what heavens like. You must have died for the cause and unfortunately I didn’t get to join you 💔 I would have followed you to the end had you allowed it. You’re the older one you know. The world abandoned the three of us but we still managed to find each other like we will in the promised land. 9/12/2022
