As we enter another school year, we’re proud to share that 7 members of the SOAR team are starting graduate programs in physical therapy 🦵 and research 🔬!

We’re incredibly proud and can’t wait to see where their next chapters take them. Here’s to another exciting academic year! 🎉

📢 Have you had an ACL tear and ACL reconstruction?

@UBC_PT and @arthritisresearch researchers are recruiting people with a past ACL reconstruction for a clinical trial comparing two physiotherapist-guided virtual education and exercise programs designed to boost knee health and reduce the risk of osteoarthritis.

Ever wonder what the day in the life of a research assistant at SOAR looks like? Well… follow along with Franny @itsptfranny (bottom panel) and Kyra @llifewithkyraa (top panel) in an average day in the life of a summer SOAR research assistant.

Make sure to stay until 12pm of the video to see what goes into a SOAR Assessment when you come in and participate as part of the study.

Have you had an ACL tear and ACL reconstruction? *Please note, the participant shown in the video is a research assistant and not a participant of the SOAR study. This video is just for fun and is to help illustrate what goes into the average day of two of our research assistants!
