CALLING ALL OUR MOMS 🗣 With all the responsibilities that come with being a mom, friend, spouse, and employer, working out can be one of the LEAST important things to do. But what if we told you that exercising can actually strengthen and energize you for all your other life demands? And, you can actually add it into some of your daily routines (we won’t tell anyone you know now 🤫) This can be as simple as: • Doing some lunges while you vacuum or mop around the house • Get active with your kids • Jogging around your neighborhood while hub is watches the kids Whatever form you use, we just encourage you to get ACTIVE! Double-tap if you found this helpful! #StayFit ————————— @thrivetribecollective is an online community committed to growth in all aspects of wellness through faith-based empowerment, awareness, and accountability. On today’s #wellnessmoment we wanted to express the true definition of wellness according to God’s Word. #ScriptureoftheWeek is 3 John 1:2 👉🏿 “Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.” When you feel overwhelmed or confused, remember that it’s God’s desire that your mind, body, and spirit prospers! Share this with someone in need of #encouragement today! ✨ #thrivetribe🤎 ————————— @thrivetribecollective is an online community committed to growth in all aspects of wellness through faith-based empowerment, awareness, and accountability. The reality is this is just a bandaid and doesn’t fix the real problem but happy for those that this will help tremendously . Student loans are predatory especially with the interest rates. Education shouldn’t cost as much . Those that say well you didn’t have to get the loans are speaking out of privilege . Tune in to @llmpodcast .We talk about updates with the Student Loan forgiveness and so much more ! #studentloanforgiveness #debtfreejourney #studentloans #studentloandebt

I’m all about sharing ways to save especially when it comes to prescriptions! I don’t understand why life saving medications can be so costly ! *This is not sponsored * I share with patients many times about using @goodrx so it was cool to see another company like @costplusdrugs owned by @mcuban with efforts to reduce cost !👏🏾👏🏾 🔸🔸 Have you ever tried @goodrx or @costplusdrugs ?! It’s all about #savingcoins so try it out and share with a friend ! #prescriptionsavings #docmom #savethecoins #blackphysicians #diaryofanerdoc

What say you? We’re planning our family trip for this year. We went to Italy last time and it was a blast. We really want to go to an country in Africa this time around but our go to is ALWAYS Nigeria 😩 On an episode of the @llmpodcast I discuss my hesitancy with “vacationing” in Nigeria 🤣🤣…IYKYK. Don’t get me wrong, it is a lot of fun but stressful at the same time 😫 Hubby and I were thinking about adding Ghana to the trip (1 week Nigeria x 1 week Ghana). I love 🇳🇬 but would love to try somewhere else 😔. I’ve been wanting to do Tanazania. I’ve heard so many great things😍❤️ What African countries are your favorites? Which do you recommend for a relaxing, fun vacation with an active toddler and a type A mom? Let me Introduce myself! Hey ya’ll my name is Xiomara Okonkwo! Since we family now y’all can call me Xio! I am Costa Rican - Nigerian American hailing from the great city of Detroit! New York City is my home in my heart. I am a practicing foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) who is currently on sabbatical. I like to fix fractures and amputate. I get a rush in the OR. I prefer the OR to clinic life. Being a doctor is not my identity, I usually don’t mention it. It’s not who I am, it is what pays the bills. The person who I look up to the most is my papi aka my grandfather. He is my heart and my love. I’ve always wanted to emulate him. Boyyyyyyyy LET ME TELL YALL ITS HARD. I’m a fire cracker and like to pop off lol but listen. God still working on me. I like to travel and have been to a shit ton of countries; shout out to my mom and dad for providing me with the easy soft life. My favorite country is Costa Rica… (I’m biased it’s home). The worst country to me is England (hell all of Great Britain). That’s about it y’all! I am 1/3rd of Love Life and Medicine. I gave y’all a little bit about my life, my love, and my medicine. I can’t wait for us to launch in May!!

Happy April! Don't beat yourself up if you didn't accomplish your goals last quarter. There is always opportunity to get them done this quarter! 💡Set aside time to be productive without any distractions and stick to it (sometimes you have to shut off the phone 😬) ! 💡Use a planner... you can go old-school or digital like @paperlike to help you stay organized. 💡Journaling is key for me. I'm able to reflect and see what I have accomplished while staying motivated on goals that I'm working on. 💡💡Last but not least is Prayer for me! Keeps me grounded and focused on purpose. 🕐What are you cooking up this quarter?! Remember to follow @llmpodcast for more information on the launch of the podcast on everything lifestyle & medicine. 📸@shotbyattajunior #motivation #lifestyle #workingmommode #mindset #organizationtipsideas #digitalinfluencer #faithbasedinfluencer #christianinfluencer #contentcreator #podcaster #momprenuer.
