Ireland saved a little magic for our last full day. 💚 We took the girls to Kylemore Abbey, through the beautiful Connemara countryside, where the sheep wander across the roads as though the whole place belongs to them. Boundaries? Certainly not their concern! 🐑 Then came Kylemore, sitting beside the lake with the mountains behind it. Such a spectacular place to spend the final day of a trip that has given us so many lovely memories. We finished with a stroll through Galway City, soaking up the streets and enjoying these last few hours together. I’ve so enjoyed spending time with these wonderful women—sharing the Ireland I love, chatting, laughing and getting to know them along the way. It’s their company that has made this week so special. I’ll be sorry to see them go. 💚☘️

Afternoon tea at a castle? Yes, please! 🫖🏰 Today our girls’ trip took us to beautiful Dromoland Castle for a lovely afternoon tea—and we even got to meet the resident hawk! Such a lovely day out with the ladies, and we came home with boxes of goodies we simply couldn’t finish. Clearly, tonight’s dessert is sorted! 🍰💚

Yesterday was everything we love about Ireland. 🇮🇪☀️ We took our three lovely Canadian guests to the Dingle Food Festival, arriving early enough to park easily and enjoy the town before it became too busy. Then it was time for the Taste Trail—wandering through Dingle, sampling delicious little dishes, discovering new flavours and soaking up the wonderful festival atmosphere. The perfect weather made it even more special: blue skies, sunshine and plenty of laughter as we explored every corner of the town. And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we drove home through the breathtaking Conor Pass—towering mountains, dramatic cliffs overhanging the narrow road and spectacular views at every turn. Wonderful food, beautiful scenery, great company and Ireland shining at its absolute best. A cup of tea at the stunning Ballyseede castle ended with meeting their resident sleepy Irish wolfhound next to his giant bed. What a day! 💚 #DingleFoodFestival #Dingle #TasteTrail #ConorPass
