The fourth edition of NowBelgiumNow is now open across three locations in Antwerp, bringing together emerging artists and artist collectives from across Belgium.

Curated by Simon Delobel and Stella Lohaus, @llspaleis offers an open space for artistic practices that resist expectations and established conventions. With no medium excluded, the exhibition embraces experimentation and uncensored expression, making room for unexpected ideas and a diversity of perspectives. Rather than seeking consensus or responding to the expectations of an audience, politics or a majority, it invites artists to speak freely and bring their work into dialogue.

NowBelgiumNow is on view until November 8, across three locations in Antwerp:
→ Paleisstraat 140
→ Vlaamsekaai 47
→ Maanstraat 17

Open Thursday–Sunday, 14:00–18:00, and by appointment.

Exhibiton view by Isabelle Arthuis, NowBelgiumNow at Paleisstraat 140.

DAS TROJANISCHE DING by @adrientirtiaux opens again! Every weekend in september between 14:00 and 18:00!

The sculpture presents itself as being foldable. It is a shapeshifter, an adjustable “Thing” – yet one that refuses to fit in smoothly. Also for 019 it is too big, perhaps even more so here. Whereas at LLS Paleis it still appeared like a rather tame whale, it takes on a more combative form at 019. The structure is designed to entail various opportunities: In the large hall of 019, it can be turned and rotated, offering new possibilities for audience interaction each time. It can be used as a skating ramp, a bar, a terrace, or for access to the canal at the building’s rear. However, it will always remain too large for this site too.

Conceived as an open, accessible space, this work literally invites to conversation inside it as well. – Emilia Keller

In collaboration with @llspaleis

The work of Adrien Tirtiaux (1980, Brussels, BE) questions the delicate interface between private and public space. With a background in architecture and an approach that identifies a location’s inherent challenges and unused potentials, Tirtiaux develops proposals around these conditions.

For her upcoming project “IA Love Bots” artist Loïs Soleil (@loissoleil) is looking to interview individuals who have developed romantic feelings or deep emotional connection to an AI companion.

As part of her residency with the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) at Werkleitz Centre for Media Art, she is exploring the rise of digital intimacy and how algorithms are reshaping our experiences of love and desire today. Her goal is to create an immersive installation based on these vulnerable, real-life testimonies.

She is specifically looking for users in:
- Belgium/Brussels and surroundings (current research phase).
- Germany/Halle (Saale) and the surrounding Saxony-Anhalt region (upcoming residency phase).

If you are not in that region but are still open to share your story please contact her ! :))

If you are interested in sharing your story or would like more information, please send a DM to the artist (@loissoleil) or contact her at AI_love_bots@proton.me

Please share and help us spread the word! 💖

This Sunday, we open the doors at 019.

Join us 14:00–18:00 for the opening of DAS TROJANISCHE DING by @adrientirtiaux —
a foldable, shapeshifting structure that resists fitting in and instead asks to be entered, used, and inhabited.

At 15:00, a live performance by @thereal_limecrush unfolds inside the work.

A sculpture that opens doors rather than closing them.
Come by, take your time, be part of the conversation.

What an operation this Monday!

Following the final day of the exhibition at @llspaleis , Das Trojanische Ding was delicately pulled out onto the street by Arsène the crane master, then loaded onto a container truck for direct transport to Ghent. Completed within just a few hours, it may have been one of the fastest exhibition dismantlings in LLS history — made possible by the team’s careful preparation and many patient exchanges with city officials. Respect.

Now Das Ding continues its adventures at @019ghent , and we are happy to welcome you to the opening of its next configuration on Sunday, June 14, from 14:00 to 18:00.
Don’t arrive too late: at 15:00 there will be a special gig by @thereal_limecrush , just before they fly back to Austria!
