Stadium of Fire… Provo Utah!!!! I loved seeing Sasha Perform with the Jonas Brothers on the 4th of July at a sold out BYU stadium!!!!! The Stadium of Fire was the absolute BEST show I have ever seen! I don’t even know where to start with this team. Perception has been the best team ever. From our Monday night classes to competition season, every single girl has inspired me to push myself past my limits and try brand new things. This team is so special and I am so grateful to call them my family. To all my teachers this year thank you for pushing me and encouraging me to be my best.Thank you to my incredible directors for creating this wonderful program and studio! And to all the girls leaving this next year thank you for everything, each of you has made a great impact on my life and I hope you all know how much I look up to all of you! How does one begin to reflect on 15 years of countless precious moments made in the 4 walls of a studio? I knew from a very young age that dance was IT for me. I loved to perform and I loved seeing my creative outlet shine through choreography. I began my weekly studio teaching career as a teenager and found passion in teaching through my young adult years. And I knew. Teaching dance is and forever will be apart of who I am. Thank you to the studio owners who gave me a chance to work with your kids in weekly rehearsals over the years. Thank you to the kids who I have had the privilege over the years to not only teach dance but see grow up right in-front of me. Thank you to faculty who have become friends over the seasons. And lastly, thank you to my parents. Your sacrifices do not go unseen for helping me to believe I can do anything I work hard for, set my mind too, and continue to grow in. As I close my studio teacher chapter, I live in a bitter sweet reality. Studio teaching really did shape my ideologies, perspectives, and appreciation that the art form of dance really does for our youth. ❤️ I love studio. Thank you. You will see me around.
