I remember it was 2 weeks before my birthday and school had started. Together with my mom we went to get some utensils for school. Looking through shelfs to get deftera dhe lapsa, walking through the aisles I stopped by a poster and got mesmerized (see pic number 2). From the earliest days, I‘m speaking kindergarten, I had been the biggest hip hop fan and to see many of my hip hop idols on one poster, I begged my mother to buy me this poster, but at that time she said no. Weeks passed and my ditelindje arrived, I invited all my friends from school to my home and the moment of gift giving arrived, and contrary to my expectation my parents had bought the poster for me. That same day one school friend of mine has gifted me my first hip hop CD (50 cent to be precise). I was in awe, the following few days I would just look at it and be proud to possess this. I wanted to create something similiar for the albanian youth, depicting all the rappers who in my opinion shaped albanian hip hop (some I don‘t listen to personally, but still they left a mark and I want to aknowledge that). Tag the depicted artists, tell me who you recognize and tell me if someone is missing or someone should be out of the list!
