MUD is out in the world. 🥹
I don’t even know how to put into words what this album means to me. I have never been more proud to be a part of something. Making this record was one of the most beautiful, inspiring, and life-changing experiences I’ve ever had and it reminded me why I love making music. We are a family, and together we made something deeply raw and full of heart. I learned more about music, creativity, and trusting myself in these rooms than I could have ever imagined.

Remi, thank you for letting me into your world. For opening yourself up to us, for trusting us, and for letting us witness the absolute force of nature that you are. There are artists, and then there are artists like Remi. Her muddy fingerprints are on every inch of this record…the writing, the vocals, the vision, the production, the artwork, the videos, all of it.

I’ll never forget watching her sit down at a drum kit and freestyle these wildly intricate, unexpected melodies that somehow felt like hooks you’d known your entire life. Watching someone create with that much freedom, instinct, and fearlessness changed the way I think about songwriting forever. She taught me that the magic is so often on the other side of being brave enough to let go.
Thank you to every single person who poured themselves into this record. I still can’t believe I got to be part of something made by so many extraordinary people. What a gift it is to make music with your friends!
We all got a little muddy making this album, and I think we’re all better for it.

Well guys, we finally made it. After three years of begging and tormenting Jordi on a daily basis for her debut album, the time has arrived. Welcome to the world “Jordi!”

What a debut album. Like honestly, we got Jordi’s best song imo as the first song on the setlist in U Know I Know. My boy Amadeus described perfectly: “It’s giving 2016.” It’s the perfect song to kickoff the album. I’m not gonna go into detail of all the songs individually as I will make reviews of them in the future when my work schedule frees up, but I’ll tell you guys right now…. U Know I Know is giving Espresso. Like, I genuinely believe that it’s going to be the song that makes Jordi a household name. And the fact that it’s part of the best album I’ve listened to since Van Halen 1 makes it even more special. And I heard it fully in 2018 when I was a senior in high school. Kinda says a lot about the music of today.

Jordi is changing the way that music should be created. It’s not about being a follower. It’s about being the leader. The alpha of the industry if you will. And she’s only just getting started. If Taylor Swift can become a megastar out of nowhere, why can’t Jordi? It can only go up from here, and it’s going to be so so satisfying to watch her become the superstar she’s dreamed of becoming since the days of singing at The House of Blues in Myrtle Beach.

Congrats on your album Jordi! That was an amazing experience and all the new songs are some of the best pop songs I’ve ever heard in my almost 25 years of life. Idk what you were on, but you were cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my ears I’ll tell you what 😂😂. To Rob Grimaldi and everyone involved in the making of “Jordi,” thank you guys for helping Jordi reach her dreams of creating a full-length album. Without you guys, none of this would happen. You guys created a very special career for someone very deserving of fame.

Jordians! Stream Jordi’s album all the time at all times. Get it to become one of the most streamed albums of the year, please! If you do, you’ll help Jordi reach heights she never would’ve thought possible!
