I lived about four different lives yesterday. 😂

4:15 AM wake-up, 6 miles with the girls, then straight to @ampersandrunningclub for their 5K with Propel (thank you for an awesome race). Nine miles total before the rest of the day even got going.

Then came the part of the day that meant the most. We celebrated my dad’s heavenly birthday at his favorite restaurant, Pappadeaux’s. Eight years without him, and I’ve learned that grief doesn’t really get easier. You just learn how to carry it better. ❤️

Next was bestie birthday time. Massages, pool time, and hanging out with friends I’ve been doing life with for 23+ years. We can talk for HOURS and still somehow have sooo much more to say.

And we still had one more thing on the schedule…watching my baby play. 🐗❤️

Not the ending we wanted, but one thing I keep coming back to is something @trevormoawad wrote, focus on what’s next. You can’t change what already happened. You can only influence what comes next. So, we move forward.

Nine miles, two birthdays, family, best friends, football and a whole lot of memories. Some happy tears, some hard ones, and a very full heart.

Saturday really did have RANGE. ❤️
