Bodily Fluids, Smoking, and The Meg 2

The Mean Boys (Keith Carey (@keithtellsjokes), Tom Goss (@tomgosscomedy), and Connor McSpadden (@connormcspadden)) have reunited to see Kyle and Matthew off to the land of ended podcasts. A land that exists deep in the Marriana Trench. The same home where the great sea beast The Meg resides. Plus, we discuss “forbidden episodes”, sexual vaping, Matthew is treated with love and respect.

One More Marvel

Kyle and Matthew are joined one more time by one of our longest running regular guests Jeremy Scippio (@jeremycomedy). We have enjoyed being the mouthpiece for Jeremy’s takes on the comic book world and our final episode does not disappoint. The boys look the MCU’s place in 2025. A little worse for wear but in an interesting place. We’ll give you that take in the episode notes because mostly Kyle and Jeremy fight about some dumb stuff about Spider-Man. Like, Jeremy takes a call, we come back, like 30 minutes goes by and then they get into it again. Don’t worry, Burnside is riding along with you dear listener. So hop into the Radtasticar for one more wild ride into the Marvel universe.

Weekly Rads:
Burnside - Love Island USA New Season (Show)

Kyle – Pacing (Band), Jeremy rapping as Nas at his birthday party (thing that happened)

Jeremy – Scenes from Gladiator 2 where Denzel kisses a guy that nobody seems to remember filming. (Sexy Mandela Effect?)

Modern Sci-Fi

Kyle, Matthew, and Laura welcome back two of the greatest guests in This Is Rad! History, Ed Greer (@edgreerdestroys) and Klee Wiggins (@kleewigginssf). Klee and Ed have been our sci-fi ambassadors since the earliest days of the show. We reflect on the evolution science fiction in the last decade. Genre fiction is often reflective of our times and we look at what about our modern times might be reflected in sci-fi. Plus, we’ve all gotten older. We reflect on a decade of doing the show with two of our longest running recurring guests.

Mass Effect

Oh boy folks, we’ve got a barn burner this week. Grant Bubar returns and is freed from the shackles of talking about music to talk about one of his true passions, the Mass Effect universe. He’s got pages of notes folks. But wait, that’s not all! Due to a series of unfortnuate events, Matthew was unable to make it to the IRL record. So, we’re gonna do an additional episode later this week. That’s right, this ep is four hours and it’s not even a full episode. A shocking amount stays on task but there are also some real good bros talking about feelings around the three hour mark. But truly, they even get back to Mass Effect again. It’s wild. If you long for them halcyon TIR days of deep, riff-filled breakdowns of cool stuff, this will give you what you crave. Like The Cha Cha Slide, look out for part 2!

Weekly Rads:
Kyle – LOL UK (show)
Grant – Dragon Age: The Veilguard (video game)
