Thinking of home and how much I love my kitchen - the most important part of our @lmshome design process. We wanted it to be the hub of the home, connect us all and be as practical as possible. Top of the list was a centrepiece island, big enough for the children to eat/do homework/draw etc but we wanted a worktop that was different from the norm. Tough, difficult to mark but worked with the clean, minimal look of the rest of the house.

We spent a long time looking at different materials but it wasn’t until we found @caesarstone_uk that things fell into place. The showroom opened our eyes to how strong the material of Caesarstone is (it also has a lifetime warranty!!) and it’s also easy to maintain. We fell in love with the Darcrest design - a black base with tones of copper - a real showpiece that fitted with the design perfectly. Thank you Caesarstone for making our dream kitchen a reality.

Choosing our worktop for the kitchen island was one of the most difficult decisions when creating our home. We knew we didn’t want a light coloured work surface but that was as far as it got in terms of narrowing down our choices. We didn’t know what material to choose, if we wanted a pattern or not and most importantly, had no idea about what colour to go for. As the house is quite masculine in its design, I never thought a darker worktop would be in the running but when we visited @caesarstone_uk ’s HQ in Enfield and discussed all the options with Justyna Heyer, Caesarstone’s Showroom Co-ordinator, we soon landed on their 5820 Darcrest surface. Justyna used different material samples we knew we had locked into the kitchen design already and put them against the different Caesarstone worktop designs, we were then able to visualise what the island would look like. As soon as we saw everything all together we were certain of our choice. With an interesting dark earthy base with brownish greens and ochre, Darcrest sits proudly in our kitchen with the other earthy and industrial materials. Its low-maintenance and durability also mean we don’t have to worry about everyday wear - it’s as practical as it is beautiful.
Thank you to @carraramarbleltd for the careful installation.

When @ceraveuki and @organisedbylucy answer your desperate cry for help. I was completely overwhelmed by my wardrobe and beauty products. After storing most of our belongings for four years and unpacking it all into @lmshome along with everything I had accumulated in that time, I need the professional and boy did they deliver!
Thank you so much the team at #organisedbylucy @ceraveuki and @blanketlondon
No judgement 🫣 this is me and I needed help, ok?!
