Q- what do you love about trance music?
A- I love trance because I grew up introduced to it by my parents when I was really young. I had a la Bouche CD that I would play in my basement with a disco ball and a laser light. I was basically primed to be a raver! When I first began DJing, it was one of the genres I was pulled to. I just think it’s so fun but also multifaceted. There’s so many styles of trance. Sometimes I play eurodance and sometimes it’s darker genres like psytrance. Trance was the first genre I produced in as well!

Q- what artists/tracks are you excited to play at the party?
A- I’m excited to play neurodancer by wippenberg which is on the darker side. I’m going to try and see if I can throw in both ends of the spectrum and play a la Bouche song too for old times sake.

.
DETROIT‼️HALLOWEEN CONTINUES NOV 1 W/ @bidetboii ‘s LAUNCH OF @pulseparty.detroit‼️
.
such an honor to work these amazing DJs and all my friends who have helped me grow and cultivate such an amazing base in detroit. this is something i have been dreaming of hosting, as it’s so near and dear to my heart, and i hope that everyone enjoys, makes new friends, and forever remembers this night💋
.
please be respectful, open minded, and FUN! this is a night to commemorate the 49 angels that passed in my hometown due to gun violence at one of the greatest spots for queers, pulse nightclub. in mexican culture, this nov 1 marks the first day of Dia de los Muertos, which honors the lives lost of loved ones and family. to me, any queer lives lost is a loss for humanity. it’s the total loss of love, expression, and art. i want to remember, dance with, and celebrate those souls and never forget that queers MAKE art and will always BE art❤️
.
please bring a bottle (in case yall thirsty lil early ghosts finish what’s provided), wear a costume, and DANCE. stay respectful of this home and the people. it is a safe space for all, and if you break any boundaries or disrespect anyone you will be kicked out by security🚨

Get low, get low (get low), get low (get low), get low (get low)

Next Friday (9/4) we welcome @lo.dazz to the September edition of Jaguar. Lo Dazz is a Detroit-based DJ with a lush style, interweaving many genres with a focus on song selection and long mixes.
Her roots began in the Lansing scene where she found her house and techno community playing co-op parties. Often referring to herself as an “occasional DJ”, Lo Dazz finds her appreciation for the art is centered on connecting with culture and community on the dance floor first and foremost, while performing is just a plus.

$10 before 11pm, $15 after!

Doors open at 10, now! Sorry to all three people who come at 9, you know who you are..

Set Times:
10:00 - 10:30 Repeat Offender
10:30 - 11:30 Polterheist
