Finally getting around to sharing more of our wedding weekend 🥹🤍 This is Day 1, celebrating and honoring my Lao & Thai heritage.

Swipe through for some of my favorite moments, little details, and the stories behind the photos that made this day so special to us!

I just have to say how incredibly grateful we are for our village. So many people poured their time, love, and energy into making this weekend what it was, and we truly could not have done any of it without them. It makes looking back at these photos that much more special.

Getting into traditional Lao attire is definitely not a one-woman job 😂🤍

From shopping in Laos for my sinh and jewelry to finally putting it all on for my wedding day, having my mom and aunties there to help me get ready made this moment so much more special.

These women have loved me, supported me, and inspired me for so many years, and getting to have them by my side for a moment, so deeply connected to my culture is something I’ll always cherish!! 🥹

Probably one of my FAVORITE parts of the entire day… even though I had to sit inside and watch it all happen from a window 😂 The Groom’s Procession!

Traditionally, the groom makes his way to the bride (ME 😂) surrounded by his family and friends, singing, dancing, and celebrating along the way. Seeing both of our families come together for this and watching everyone fully embrace this part of my culture was honestly so magical.

And of course, Cameron couldn’t just walk right in 😂 My family and my amazing gatekeepers (my bridesmaids) had to make sure he was worthy enough to make it through each gate first. A couple shots of VSOP (ofc), a little dancing for my heart, and, at one point, even making his best man do push-ups on his behalf, LOL.

Such a fun tradition and easily one of my favorite memories from Day 1 🤍

He made it through!!

Once Cameron officially passed the gates, he and his family were welcomed into our ceremony space to join mine. Traditionally, this part would take place inside the bride’s family home, but there was absolutely no way to fit our whole village inside 😂 so we brought the celebration outdoors instead.

let’s turn my home into a birthday café 🍰☕️⭐️

honestly, a heavy night out just doesn’t appeal to me anymore 🫣 so i decided to lean into alllll the things i truly enjoy this year: coffee, cake & good company🧁💗

& turned my home into my very own café !! ☕️ & here’s how you can do the same:

📝step 1: hand-write your menu (SO cute!!)

⭐️step 2: add your decorations

🍰step 3: make your food spread (mine may have been shop brought from @marksandspencerfood & @buzzybee 🤭)

☕️step 4: get your drinks! again, to make life easier we did get these in from a local coffee shop👀 but you can do whatever works for you!

🕯️step 5: light your candlessss

💌step 6: add your lovely guests !!! (bonus points if they bring a surprise cake 😂🤭)

Hidden gem in Chandler, AZ ✨

This is @seaandsmokechandler and we recently
had the most elevated girls night here and OMG... we’re obsessed.

Beef short ribs? SO tender. Lobster potstickers? A must. And don’t sleep on the salads—grilled caesar was 🔥 but the roast chicken + fuji apple one? Life-changing.
Cocktails were on point, the vibes were immaculate, and shoutout to Michael for handling our indecisiveness like a pro 🥂
