Round Top attracts people who dress the part, shop for fun, and take picture-perfect photos of their experience. Aaaaand then theres us. 😏 If you know the two of us, you know thats just not our schtick, and when shopping for showroom inventory, the trip simply looks different. We drive (aka bounce) 8hrs there in a Uhaul. We start each day early and end late. We walk for miles, survive on processed snacks, and spend days digging through endless piles in search of treasures. We carry our finds like pack mules, then carefully wrap and load them into the truck like a game of Jenga, hoping everything makes it back in one piece. We’re typically soaked in sweat, always covered in dirt, and occasionally have to pick spiderwebs out of our hair. This trip cost me four fingernails and gave me two kankles. 💁🏼‍♀️ Our experience may not be glamorous or Insta-worthy to most, but we honestly wouldnt have it any other way. Just like when were back home in Little Rock, our motto is “work hard and have fun doing it”. So in between the dirt and the digging, we sang Uhaul karaoke and made a point to find @local_roots_round_top to indulge in their famous homemade DingDong 🤤. We took time to find a few beloved pieces for our personal homes, and we engaged in heartfelt conversations with friends we’ve made along the way. We ended each day savoring every bite of our late-night dinners, while talking about life, laughing until we cried, and being sure to elevate those kankles! We got back last night with a full truck (and more on its way!), which means its time to unload! We’ll spend the next week cleaning our finds and adding them into inventory for our clients and customers to enjoy. We cant wait for you to see what we found! Thank you Round Top and @zacwoodiel for another great trip. Until next year! 🫶🏻

Howdy from Round Top, Texas y’all 🤠

Population: 87.
Two shows a year.
And this trip was pretty epic.

Usually it’s hot as hell out here. Not this time. Perfect days, cool evenings. Couldn’t have asked for better.

First stop rolling into town: @super.ready.official @thehorseshoeroundtop One of my favorite spots. Laguna meets Round Top meets vintage. Most epic combo.

Then off to @junkgypsy Look for the pink Suburban on the side of the road and the organized chaos in the front yard. Always a party. Music on the front porch. Old men waiting on their significant others to finish shopping 😂

Y’all. The Dingdong at @local_roots_round_top Absolutely worth it.

Two nights at @wanderinn Perfectly located. Right vibe. Always.

Now the shopping. It’s not just antiques y’all. Everything you want or need is here.
Scored an upcycled camo jacket from @nickyvdesign That section of Tent E at @thearborsroundtop is the vibe.
Stopped by @amyjoycedesigns too. Interior design and personal styling. Also at the Arbors.
And of course some of my most epic jackets came from @lady_lancaster_ Dangerous place. You’ll want everything.

Where to eat? @thevictorhugos Hands down.
Good food is hard to find here. Only a handful of places and I’ve been to all of them. Found this gem on this trip. Make a reservation y’all.

Our store has for the best finds, vintage treasures, loads of cowgirl paraphernalia, velvet bedding, and a lotta Texas magic. Stay for homemade ding dongs and our Porch Series!

ALSO our Junk Barn is open and loaded down!!! So come grab some good crusty old stuff!!!

Wander around and stay awhile!
