Taking a break from the clamness with this important oyster intel. 🦪

#repost • @unrealrowanjacobsen Gamechanging grill tip from
@hamahamaoysters
Adam James: Grill them flat-side down, then finish cup-side down. The flat side releases from the muscle first, instead of pulling the oyster out with it! Also note superplump spring Hamas. #oysters #hama

We have visitors! They’re taking over the kitchens and the storyline 😆#repost @unrealrowanjacobsen Now that March Clamness is celebrated in so many countries around the world, people often assume it has a long history, but that's not the case. It actually goes back just a few years to Hama Hama Oyster Co's Justin Stang (left, in photo), who celebrates his March birthday every year by steaming ten pounds of manila clams (his favorite), making a vat of clams with spaghetti, and attempting to eat it all. At some point, he started calling it March Clamness. The rest is history. This week, history is being augmented at @hamahamaoysters, where clams are flying out the door and recipes are dropping out of thin air, thanks to Hama adjunct Adrienne Anderson (right, in photo). This was Clam Spaghetti with Lots and Lots of Lemon, and it was La Bomb. Just ask Justin. Recipe to follow @localtechnique and #hamahama
