Congratulations to Carly and Austin. It was a rainy Saturday here at the lake, but The Rock House was the perfect venue for the ceremony and reception.

This is our kind of rustic elegance.

For this Lake Oconee reception, we let the setting lead the way, layering soft draping, warm candlelight, and garden-inspired florals to elevate the tent without losing the natural character of the property.

Refined, inviting, and completely at home by the lake.

The TENT spoke for itself. The REACTIONS confirmed it.

Draped, candlelit, and completely transformed. This is lakeside rustic elegance, our way.

Step into this Lakeside Haven at Reynolds Lake Estate for Caroline and Matthew.

For this celebration, we really let the setting lead the way. The natural beauty of Lake Oconee and the character of Sandy Creek Barn became the foundation for an inviting take on rustic elegance that felt elevated, warm, and completely at home on the property.

From there, it was all about making each space feel connected. The barn set the tone with layered lounges, florals, lighting, and thoughtful details, while the custom reception tent carried that same warmth into a more refined setting with soft draping, layered lighting, natural textures, greenery, and collected tablescapes.

The spaces weren’t meant to look exactly the same. They were designed to complement one another so that as guests moved from ceremony to cocktails to reception, the entire celebration felt like one seamless lakeside experience.

Such a perfect day for Grace and Mitch’s wedding at Great Waters! So happy the rain held off and the sun came out for their outdoor ceremony on the lake. 🤍

If I could change one thing about how couples hire their planner, it would be this: hire us sooner.

I’ve had couples hire us for coordination and later realize they needed more support as the decisions started piling up. And I get it. You don’t know what you don’t know until you’re in it.

The earlier I’m involved, the better I can understand how you think, what matters to you, and where we should be asking more questions before decisions are made.

By wedding week, I don’t want to be meeting your plans for the first time. I want to know exactly why we made them.
