I was randomly looking through my IG feed and saw this picture picture posted by @thenovastudio, one of my all time favorite places on the face of earth. This studio, this little slice of heaven, was the place where I found my love for handmade DIY body products and essential oils and plant-love and tinctures and salves and all of it. The studio has since closed its brick and mortar and now runs online. Gosh, what I wouldn’t give to go back to this time in my life for just one day and really soak in the studio and the people again! I miss you all so much! I miss the smell of The Nova. I miss the weather in Point Richmond. The way the air smelled. The Thai place around the corner that had the BEST pumpkin curry and that purple rice! 😭💔❤️😍☺️ @thenovastudio changed my life and my heart, and I will be attached to those memories every day of my life - they’ll float behind me, like a sea green balloon tied to my wrist with a string, bobbing along. And I won’t think about it everyday, but when something makes me look up and I remember that the balloon is behind me, I’ll float about my day with the fattest smile spread across my face. 😊🍃

Our Farewell get together at The Nova Studio. I didn't even ugly-cry on the way home. Totally proud of myself. I will be T.A.-ing in December for Alice during the last class ever at TNS. They'll still have online classes, but it's so hard to say goodbye to the actual studio! 🙁 Love you all so much!
