Filipino comfort food, but make it sandwiches. 🥪 Lofty MNL takes familiar Filipino flavors and turns them into seriously comforting sandwiches. My favorite was the Pork Binagoongan Burnt Ends. 😋 Available on GrabFood or via @loftymnl.

These are not your usual sandwiches. Imagine creamy tinapa with salted egg, 18-hour slow-cooked pork binagoongan, and a garlicky mushroom melt with jalapeños—all between bread. Today, I tried three sandwiches from Lofty MNL, created by two self-taught cooks who are having fun experimenting with Filipino flavors in unexpected ways. My favorite? Definitely the Tinapa Crema Sandwich. Creamy, subtly smoky, indulgent but balanced with pickled veggies. Kaya kong ubusin ito mag-isa. The Pork Binagoongan Burnt Ends gave me that satisfying chicharon-like crunch, while the Garlic Mushroom Melt is for fellow mushroom lovers who enjoy a little spicy kick. If sawa ka na sa usual sandwich order, save this for later. Lofty MNL is available on Grab, and this might just be your next unexpected food discovery. Which one would you try first? #LoftyMNL #ManilaFood #FoodFindsPH #SandwichPH #FoodiePH @loftymnl
