2 months late… but better later than never! 🙈

Coming to college, I had no idea of who I was. I was coming from a place and friends I’ve known my whole life, and while I was excited to be a Demon, I was lost. The fall of my Freshman year I decided to submit my Freshman Connector application, and it couldn’t have been a better decision for me.

The Freshman Connection program has given me my best friends, experiences of a lifetime, and has helped me discover myself. Through FC, I was able to find my personality and confidence that has truly shaped me into who I am.

I am forever thankful to my 3 color groups, my teammates, and this program for giving me not only the best 3 summers of my life, but also the confidence to be myself.

So… with FC applications being open, be sure to apply! If you’re scared of applying, do it anyway! If you’re worried you won’t be a good fit, do it anyway! If I would’ve told myself 3 years ago that I would’ve found a home in this program, I wouldn’t believe it. I am forever indebted to the experiences, best friends, and family FC has given me. 💛💚💜
