POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

South Africa, you changed me.
Going into this trip, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I was simply excited to see what the Lord was already doing in South Africa and grateful for the opportunity to step into it and love His people well, and He showed me more than I could have imagined. We spent our time serving alongside @livinghopeza , doing children’s ministry with kids ranging from 3 to 19. We went with the hope of planting seeds and sharing the love of Jesus, but somewhere along the way, the Lord used these kids to teach and change me too. I witnessed so much joy, so much love, and such a genuine hunger for Jesus. I watched children run in each day ready to be loved, seen, and known. I listened as older kids asked question after question because they truly wanted to know more about Jesus. And I saw a kind of childlike faith that reminded me just how simple and beautiful following Him can be. There are stories and circumstances from this week that made the joy and faith I witnessed that much more impactful. The Lord softened my heart, changed my perspective, and reminded me that no matter where we come from or what our lives look like, our greatest need is the same: Jesus.
One of my favorite parts of this trip is knowing that what we witnessed didn’t begin when we arrived and didn’t end when we left. God was already moving through Living Hope and these communities long before us, and it was such a privilege to simply get to be a small part of what He is doing.
To everyone who prayed for me, encouraged me, and donated to make this trip possible, thank you. You made it possible for me to experience something I will carry with me forever, and I’m so grateful you got to be a part of what the Lord is doing in South Africa.

I love you forever South Africa! 🇿🇦🤍
