Here’s to a Mega Excellent Summer. Anyway… Here’s Wonderwall

The best summer that I could never go back to.

I’ve never felt so ready for classes to start back up. Freshman year was a constantly-fluctuating learning curve, and I feel like Sophomore year will be more steady. I’ve been thinking about school all summer but haven’t really been ready to go back until recently. Didn’t realize how much I’ve missed everyone until band camp begun…

…off to a new year we go!

Tangent - one of my most prominent fears has been physical pain, and how I’ve felt shackled from doing certain things. It feels like my body hates me a times. I got sciatica when I flew into Europe. Nonetheless, I’ve been trying to learn to do the best I can with my body to serve God and not become distraught. It’s not easy feeling weak all of a sudden, but we can find clarity and strength in Him:

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I love y’all, stay safe out there. And of course, trust in the Lord. It’s never too late to begin worshiping him. I wasn’t really committing for so long but hey, it’s a never-ending journey.
