Elias James Markwell 💙

Our sweet boy made his big debut on Friday, 10/2/26 at 6:25am.

To say we are in love and in complete awe of Gods beauty and goodness would be an understatement. There are truly no words.

Our first week home has been filled with joy, snuggles, and tbh we’ve been having so much fun even despite the sleep deprivation.

Cheers to Elias for flipping our world upside down in the best way possible!

Nothing but a simple appreciation post for @logan_markwell

From being friends while getting our PhDs, dating across the country, engagement across the world, living in Poland and PHX, endless travel and adventures, hikes, and performance feats in addition to all the simple moments like cooking, playing cards, and sipping coffee… man am I grateful for a best friend to journey through life with.

It still feels surreal that we are soon entering a new season, but I feel so confident and excited with you as my partner.

Ready for our world to be rocked (😂) and our life to have a whole new meaning and purpose 🥰

As a first time pregnant woman in her third trimester, I’m just confused why every single other woman who has had babies hasn’t screamed from the rooftops telling me to get slide on sneakers???

At least I have them now, and Logan can’t tie them together 😂

Pregnancy is humbling in more ways than one.

He was up ready to run. I was… along for the ride (slightly reluctantly lol)

But that’s kind of the point.

The people closest to you shape your habits more than any program or plan ever will. Who you eat with, who you train with, who you spend your time with, it all adds up.

So, maybe I wasn’t super excited for this run, but I’m glad I did it and I thoroughly enjoyed the views and company.

I feel really lucky to be running in the same direction as Logan. Literally and figuratively.

(Even if this is clearly his hot boy summer, and I’m just out here putting pounds on by the week 🤣)

Happy belated birthday to my favorite person!!!

Every year on your birthday, I’m reminded how grateful I am to have a front-row seat to your life. Your ability to love others, think deeply, work hard while also playing and resting effortlessly, and challenge every thought (and semantic…) are just a few of the things I love about you. It’s a blessing to get glimpses of the Kingdom through your love.

And this next year… I absolutely cannot wait to watch you become a dad. Choosing you to do life with was by far the best decision I’ve ever made.

Baby Markwell due September 30!!!

And I’ve quickly learned that telling people we are waiting to know the gender until the baby is born often warrants a much larger reaction so sorry but y’all have to wait with us 😂

Currently just living in complete awe of what the female body was designed to do and thanking God everyday for this miracle 🥰

A weekend of celebrating love and hanging with Lexi and Vieri 🥰

But I have to know, was it even a weekend with your best friend if you didn’t get a single picture together? Or is that just me? 😅

My first trail race!! And a DNQ lol

Safe to say, it definitely did not go as planned 😂

I missed a sign, and got back to the finish line at 7 miles instead of the planned 13.8…

Slightly confused and annoyed, but nothing I could do about it at that point so I just turned around and went back out for another 7 miles. And honestly, I had a smile on my face the whole time 🤷🏼‍♀️

This year I was yearning for a new challenge so this was less about the race anyways and more about completing the mileage with a decent time. And I did that!

I ended up enjoying the training way more than I thought I would.

Definitely some unfinished business and maybe another race in the future.

Don’t fret though, I’m not turning all cardio. I missed my heavy lower body days 😂
