POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some BTS from Discoface last night. I have to admit, I literally got choked up and emotional when we wrapped filming at the location. Seeing everyone's hard work and dedication helping pull off this hilarious, absurd dream I had almost brought me to tears. Natalie Sampson choreographed an AMAZING dance sequence that the crew loved (and put up with having to teach me... my jazz hand game is weak). She and the incredible Peypocalypse collaborated to come up with some inventive camerawork to elevate the scene even further. We wrapped Geena Pietromonaco, who is an extraordinary person as well as performer. I know she's going to be a huge star one day, so I was thrilled to get her on her way up. Wallace Simpson, the composer of the movie, got to see his song be realized via dance and was a joy to have on set. Alex McDuffie always brings his A game to every set, and last night was no different. He's so perfectly cast. Mandi Huffman and Logan Cannon are the most hilarious detective duo ever put on film, and editing their scenes will be tricky because of all the hilarious improvs. Not pictured is Sarah Harlett, our intimacy coordinator who kept us all feeling secure and offered great ideas to the scene. And last but certainly not least are Marisa Nelson and Jordan Kerbs... which is one of the reasons I got so emotional last night. Their hard work and dedication of turning the space into a discotheque is what elevated the film immensely. I will always be eternally grateful for the professionalism and dedication everyone brings to Zone 5 Films LLC's first feature film. Being on the set of The Stranger is everything I dreamed of when I was a little girl first realizing I wanted to be in movies. It’s truly like magic. You step on set and you’re instantly transported to another place, and the energy of every person around you living and believing in that space as you create together is electrifying. I am so grateful to be a part of the world we’re building, and for the people bringing this dream to life.
