Last couple weeks have been busy for our crew. A trip down to Mississippi in 14U Open state championship in a tough field of teams(boys went 2-2, with only losses coming to eventual champs LA Se7en). Then we headed down to Savannah to 14U Open World Series in another tough field and our dudes showed out! Earned 1 seed through 4 grinding pool play games, then 4 more battles in bracket play, ending with a tough but back and forth championship game loss to finish as the runners up. Overall I couldn’t be more proud of how they’ve performed up against excellent competition, some unforeseen adversity, & the extreme summer heat hitting us. These guys have been resilient and gritty all season & I’m proud to be their coach.

Note: At World Series we had Top 3 finishers in HR Derby (@wking_09 champ @maddox_robby12 2nd @peytonmartin87 3rd)

Golden Arm we had 2 of our guys tie for 2nd @wking_09 Kayson Vincent

Road Runner we had @tippettkayden finish 3rd & Austin Cole 4th

Our dudes are off to an excellent start to their summer season. These young men have gone 7-1 so far, played for championship in both tournaments we’ve played in, & this past weekend won the USSSA June Thunder (14U Open) while going a perfect 4-0. Have had 6 different winning pitchers, multiple home runs hit, quality at-bats up and down the lineup, & played shut down defense. Very proud of what we’re building and it’s a joy to coach these dudes each weekend.
