315 → 527 lb deadlift. When Logan first reached out, he had big ambitions. Like most people, though, life doesn’t always cooperate. Work gets demanding. Personal things happen. Priorities shift. Progress is rarely a straight line. Over the two years we worked together, my job became about a lot more than sets, reps, and percentages. We worked through training, setbacks, life, and the decisions that come with trying to improve while still handling everything outside the gym. Logan became a stronger lifter, but more importantly, I got to watch him grow as a person. That’s one of the things I value most about coaching. Of course I want people to get stronger, hit PRs, and accomplish goals they once thought were out of reach. But I also want the lessons learned through training, discipline, patience, accountability, resilience, and consistency to carry over into the rest of their lives. Logan eventually took a deadlift that had been stuck at 315 and pulled 527 lbs at a sanctioned meet. That number is impressive, but it’s only part of the story. It was a privilege to walk alongside him through that chapter of his life, and I’ll always appreciate the trust he placed in me as his coach. Stronger lifters. Better people. #Powerlifting #PowerliftingCoach #StrengthTraining #Deadlift #OnlineCoaching
