Mission trip 2 #ɢᴏᴅɪsɢᴏᴏᴅ

Life Changing. the first 2 words to come to mind when I think about this trip. Every conversation I’ve had after this trip this Sunday morning all consisted of the first 2 words being “Life Changing.” It’s so crazy how all of our thoughts were aligned when speaking of this trip but it truly made so much sense when I think back on what this trip did to me and everyone surrounding me.

I’m truly so grateful for God giving me this opportunity. For everyone who surrounded me welcomed me with their arms wide open. Im so blessed to have found this beautiful church and have God working in such a profound way. I’d never think I’d make these deep of connections in a weeks time.

I’m so blessed to have a beautiful girlfriend who pushes me in my faith and got me to go on this trip. She has truly helped me in growing my faith and has pushed me in numerous ways. She truly helps me strive to be the best version on myself I could possibly be. Im healed.

It felt so amazing to have Jesus flowing through me and helping the people in much need. Everyone surrounding me never complained but did it with such happiness and willingness. Being able to see everyone work so hard, grow in their faith, and truly be so vulnerable was so beautiful to witness. I’m going to miss this week so much until next year rolls around and we do it all over again!

I was holding onto a past with many mistakes and was struggling with guilt and self forgiveness but I chose to get baptized again as my choice this time. As a fresh start to be the best me and have God guiding me through it all. I have found God on my own this time and I’m truly thankful for him saving me and giving me just so much grace. I’m so grateful for how he works.

Thank you to everyone who made this such a perfect experience. Thank you to all the leaders who touched my heart. Thank you to Christ Church as a whole for making me feel like I belong and making me feel like this was never my first time. Thank you God.

i’m still trying to find the words to describe how amazing this week was. this trip gave me so much more than i expected. i came in excited, but i left with a heart full of gratitude, unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a stronger relationship with God.

one of my favorite parts was meeting so many incredible people. some of them started the week as complete strangers, but by the end felt like family. from endless laughs to worshipping together and encouraging one another, every moment meant so much. it was amazing to be surrounded by people who share the same faith and values and who constantly lifted each other up. every single one of you guys had such a positive impact everyday whether it was just saying hi, or having good conversation.

this week also reminded me of the importance of serving others. whether it was encouraging someone to keep going , people who needed someone to just sit and talk with, or just showing kindness in small ways, i learned that even the smallest acts of love can make a difference. seeing so many people put others before themselves was inspiring and showed me what it truly means to live like Christ.

most importantly, this week helped me grow closer to God. in a world full of distractions, this trip gave me the chance to slow down and focus on my faith. through worship, prayer, devotionals, and powerful messages, i felt God’s presence in ways i never have before. i was reminded that He has a plan for my life, that His love never fails, and that i can trust Him through every season, even when i don’t understand what’s happening.

i’m leaving this week with a stronger faith, a fuller heart, and memories that i’ll carry with me forever. thank you to everyone who made this week so special and to all the amazing people i met along the way. and most of all, thank you God for working in my life, helping me grow, and giving me an experience i’ll never forget.

this week changed me for the better and i’m beyond thankful for every single second of it
