Hi everyone, I’m so excited to share that the Trail of Courage youth program I authored this past year has been adopted by Pinellas County Schools—one of the largest school districts in Florida—and will impact thousands of students across the district this school year!

Seeing how much teachers connected with the program during the district-wide training—and hearing how urgently they feel students need the core skills covered in the program reinforced that we are on the right track with preparing students for college, career, and life.

Skills covered in the program include: Purpose, Values, and Goal Setting; Self-Awareness; Communications; Connection; Problem Solving; Mindfulness; Resilience; and Service.

This partnership is especially meaningful to our family. Our son Cayden (now a senior at FSU majoring in Biology) and daughter Logan both attended Pinellas County Schools. The Trail of Courage is a way for us to give back and fulfill Logan's dream of wanting to be a teacher. To now see educators in the same school system using a program inspired by LogansLove.org brings great joy and meaning to our family in memory of our sweet girl Logan.

This was the quote that was included on the key chains we gave to teachers during the training:

"May you be proud of the work you do, the person you are, and the difference you make."

With much love!

Al, Helen, Cayden, and Angel Logan

For those that knew our sweet girl Logan, she was studying to be a teacher at Florida Atlantic University before her passing.

We wanted to find a way to fulfill that dream for her so we developed the Trail of Courage Youth Development Program! The program includes a Resource Guide for teachers and mentors to use with teens and young adults to introduce core skills for personal growth, leadership development, and career readiness. There are over 40 interactive exercises that help develop purpose, values, goals, communications, problem solving, resilience, and more.

As parents, it's the best way we could think of to honor Logan, give back, and help others. It's such a challenging time for teens with all the change and pressures of life in our tech-driven world. I see it firsthand with the many teens I mentor. Mental wellbeing is so important!

Please check out the Trail of Courage Program that we are offering to schools, youth organizations, and more at https://loganslove.org/youth-programs/

If you want to support our cause, please consider donating so we can provide access to the program and increase scholarships.

Helen, Cayden, and I are so grateful to our family and friends for all the love and support we've received over the years as we continue to celebrate Logan's life and do her work here.

❤️With much love!
