I feel beyond thankful for these people and this week 💕 This week I gained growth in my faith and in my friendships. I talked to many people on this trip and I'm so thankful God has given me the courage to speak out this week. I told my small group that I wanted to "leave different" by being more open to new opportunities, conversations with different people, new friendships and I think I've already had a good start!! I'm so glad I have this small group to keep me accountable! I learned so much this week from Gerald and can't wait to study more on what i have learned. Thank you Tiffany and Logan for another amazing trip!!! #leavedifferent2019

HIGHSCHOOLERS, we are doing a Summer Retreat in St. Louis! We are calling it “Leave Different” because our hope and prayer is that you walk away different and better because of our time together! We truly hope and believe that God will use our time together to get us closer to him and closer to each other!

We also have planned and designated a lot of time to exploring St. Louis and having as much fun as we possibly can! Here are just a few of the things we plan on doing on our retreat: Six Flags, St. Louis Zoo, The Arch, Forrest Park, Shopping, Putt-Putt, Chick-Fil-A and more! Oh, and did we mention we are staying in Downtown St. Louis right next to the Arch with a rooftop pool? Wild!

Last but not least we were able to land Gerald Fadayomi as our retreat speaker! He is literally one of the best communicators and speakers that we’ve ever heard! He has spoken to thousands of people at conferences, camps, and retreats! We feel so blessed and honored that he’s joining us for our retreat!

We are stoked and we are ready for you to start signing up! The link in our bio allows you to copy and paste it and send it to your parents. You can pay and sign up all online. If there are any questions or concerns please let Logan or Justin know! We hope you and your crew join us for “LEAVE DIFFERENT”!

This week has been amazing, it's been pretty much the best trip I've ever been on, I was so nervous to go not knowing anyone very well but little did I know the great friendships I would come back with 💞 when I first started going to the warehouse they were talking about bigstuf, my mom was trying to get me to sign up but I didn't want to since I didn't know anyone yet. The following Sunday Tiffany asked me if I wanted to sign up for the trip, I said no but she signed me up anyway and I can't thank her enough for having me do something out of my comfort zone! I hadn't thought I would be able to go because of the long list of people already signed up, but then I get a text from allie and devanne a few weeks later saying theres a slot open for me if I wanted it, and it was one of the greatest decisions. This week I learned so much, I am an original. I could let my past define me or, I could let it refine me. I can bring God my ordinary and he will make it extraordinary. This trip has not only made me grow closer to God, but I've also grown closer to the girls in my group this week. God has heard my prayers, and he has answered them, I could've let my nerves get to me and ruin my week, but instead I stepped out and enjoyed God's glory this week. I am so thankful for my mom and Taylor encouraging me to go to this youth group because now I don't know what I would do without these people. I'm thankful for my youth pastor logan, for encouraging me ever since I started going here and making me feel welcomed and showing Jesus's light to me since the very beginning. Allie and Devanne, thank you for loving and encouraging me when I feel unworthy, for pushing me out of my comfort zone and helping me through the hard times when I let my nerves get to me. Thank you Tiffany for pushing me into the decision to go to bigstuf, and for being so kindhearted to me all the time and checking in on me. Thank you to all the girls in my group for welcoming me in just the way I am and loving me and for encouraging me and always showing positivity in everything you do. I'm beyond thankful for my entire youth group and I love you guys so much, I can't wait for this coming year 💞

Laughing by yourself is fun, but celebrating and laughing together is Literally good for your soul. That’s why God gave me you fools. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Sisson! We love you both! #SignSealedSisson
