Dear Football, from the moment I stepped on that field 12 years ago, you became my one true love. The memories you brought me, the friendships, the discipline, the ups, and the downs, will never be forgotten. This sport was more than just winning and losing on that field. It was about the blood sweat and tears that me and my brothers put into it. If there was one thing I regret in life, it would be taking this sport for granted. When that clock hit zero it wasn’t just the end of a sport season, it was the end of an era, an era that I would do anything to get back. I want to thank my parents for always being there for me on my good and bad days. I want to thank my coaches for pushing me to leave everything out on that field. I want to thank my brothers on that field for always having my back when it came down to the wire. And lastly I want to thank you football for not only bringing me the memories, but also the people along the way. #6ix out

Where do I start…. I’m thankful. Thankful for this sport and all the amazing people it has given me the privilege to meet. It’s hard to accept that this is all really over but all good things must come to an end and unfortunately tonight that’s what happened. My season was ended a while ago when I broke my thumb and had to get surgery but there was always that slim hope that I could come back and play one last time. I wish I could have been out there with my boys tonight or been able to play one last game with them. Thank you to all the amazing people I met and thank you to everyone who’s been in my corner these past 6 years or past 9 years. Football was my first love, and it’s sad to see it end. Thank you to my coaches for teaching me so many lessons about life and just everything you guys have done i appreciate all of you so much. Thank you to my mom and dad for showing me this amazing sport and helping me work to get better at it each and everyday. Thank you to my teammates for everything especially having my back when it came down to it I’ll miss being on the field with each and everyone of you.
