THANK YOU, WILMINGTON!!!!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the legacy of Dee Dee Toon Rivers at the 2nd Annual Tip-Off Luncheon in support of UNCW Women’s Basketball🏀

We were honored to welcome Tamera “Ty” Young as our featured speaker. Her powerful message challenged and encouraged our community to show up for this program in meaningful ways — both physically in the stands and financially through their support and investment.

Building a successful program takes more than the efforts of our coaches and student-athletes. It takes a community that believes, shows up, gives back, and stands behind these young women as they represent UNCW with pride! My hero crew was in attendance that saved my life. That’s just the type of people we have here. We show up at all times!

To everyone who attended, supported, contributed, and continues to believe in the vision of UNCW Women’s Basketball, THANK YOU! Your support matters, and together, we can continue to build something special.

Let’s keep that same energy all season long! We invite the entire Wilmington community to pack Trask Coliseum, beginning November 3rd, cheer on our Seahawks, and find ways to invest in the continued growth and success of our program.

So thrilled to see @wvuwbb play in the NCAA Division 1 First Round at Morgantown on 3/21. 13,540 fans packed Hope Coliseum to see this team play their hearts out. Although the Second Round did not go the way we hoped , they have made West Virginia very proud! 💙💛 It will be hard to lose @jordanharrison__ , @sydneyyshaw @meme.wheeler22 , @sydney.woodley and @celia_xrvr . Thank you for sharing your talent with us and wishing you all the best! For those remaining, looking forward to next season! 🏀
