Golf is meant to be fun, and what better way than with games like Closest to the Pin, Angry Birds, Go Fish and more.

Getting people involved from an early age is vital for the sports development. Our driving range caters for families both local and those staying at the Double Tree, with TopTracer bringing ball tracing technology you can practice your golf with measurable metrics or have a hit of fun playing interactive games with family and friends.

We were joined by TopTracer rep Johnny Wallace who seems to have gotten too good at go fish. 👀 🎣

#toptracer #golfcoursesofireland #golfireland #golfer kingfishercountry

What is flat carry and why should we care? So many golfers just don’t get the best out of their range sessions, no plan, no data, just a basket of balls. Thats why we have teamed up with TopTracer to bring high end ball tracing technology to the Templepatrick Driving range on the Kingfisher Country Estate.

We were joined by TopTracer rep Johnny Wallace for a quick run down of how some of the stats work and how to use them.

#toptracer #golfcoursesofireland #golfireland #golfer #kingfishercountry

We have added something exciting to our driving range!

@toptracer - Highly accurate ball tracing technology designed to improve your game, track progress, practice with purpose plus a little fun for the family and kids too. We caught up with Johnny Wallace for a chat during the install.

A huge thanks to Johnny from Toptracer for joining us and sharing his expertise as we get everything up and running.

More data. More games. More fun. More reasons to hit the range.

Come and try it for yourself. ⛳️

Don’t move the ball… move the object. 🙌 ⛳️ if you were watching the masters this weekend there were a few examples of this on Rory's rounds where he went a bit wayward into the roped-off areas on one or two drives.

Back home it may be April, but we are not in the clear yet with the weather and you'll notice a lot of stakes still in the grounds at clubs across the country.

This one is often contentious so we’re here to set the record straight with Eamonn Logue, our resident golf pro and Director of Golf.

We can't all be enjoying the pristine conditions at Augusta... It's been a long winter here in the UK & Ireland with loads of rain and the greens are soft, so we are going to find ourselves plugged on the green, this is how you deal with it.

Nothing worse than landing on the green to find out you are putting on the surface of the moon... craters everywhere. 🤦‍♂️ ⛳️ 🌙 ... Repair your pitch marks please, it's a simple task... and while you're at it fix someone else's.

Who knew Causal water was such a talking point but here we are out on the fairway again splashing about. But what is casual water and when do you get relief?

Some golf basics to get you out of these wet situations.

So unless you don't plan on wearing wellies and a wetsuit this is how you deal with "casual water" on the Templepatrick Golf Course on the Kingfisher Country Estate. .
