It’s not over yet. Another stunning fall flight into #stehekin with snow rimming the valley down to 3,500 feet. Even smoke is beautiful now. Last picture is my favorite fuel monkey @logweezy You should take a look at his Insta - he takes amazing imagery from his own high vantage. #methowvalley #almostdailystehekinpic #ncascades #earthisbluepodcast #winthropwa #twispwashington #aerialphotography

6 am to #stehekin and Bellingham. The shark fin of Glacier above the clouds, Mt. Baker on decent, and some long sunrise shadows. Liberty Bell from overhead. The Cascades…. Just can’t get enough. #methow #methowvalley #ncascades #earthisblue #glacierpeak #fatpnw

Congratulations to former Utah Valley pitcher Logan Gerling who completed his commercial pilot license through the FAA yesterday! I first met Logan when he was a junior in high school. Like many teenagers he had big dreams, one of which was to become a pilot. The years went by, Logan became a junior college All American then the number 1 starter at the University of Washington. Our paths met again 7 years after we first met and he spent his final year of eligibility at Utah Valley in 2023. Logan started on the mound every weekend for a team that changed this program by winning 34 games. He then took on the UVU’s aviation program which is the top in the country. The commercial pilot program is a self paced 4 semester program that aspiring pilots begin after meeting several prerequisites. Logan finished the program in 1 semester and is now a certified commercial pilot! Incredible!

I can’t really seem to find the words to explain what a wonderful experience this was, not just for me but for everyone involved.

I wanna start by saying even though I haven’t known you for a long period of time alec I’ve had the honor of watching you grow into a man that Kate deserves, you’re both beautiful individuals and I can’t begin to describe how happy I am for the both of you, both of you show commitment and generosity too each other and that’s something not a lot of people have the ability to say to one another.

Kate I’ve known you for an even less amount of time but the words are mutual you’re strong, beautiful, reliable, and most of all determined. You’ve loved now one of my closest friends for 7 years and it’s so unbelievably beautiful, I’ve seen your relationship grow and become more rooted than anything I’ve ever been able to witness and it makes me undeniably proud.

Joe & Logan, you guys have been the best, I’ve loved getting to see your dynamic with Alec and Kate and make me always feel like I’m worthy of being in your guys friend group, growing up without a lot of friends its special to me knowing I have both of you to rely on going forward hands down 2 of the best individuals I’ve ever had the honor to meet.

Too all the brides maids and other groomsmen you’re all just as responsible for making this wedding 1 in a million, it was nothing short of perfection and it’s what I strive to achieve when the day ever comes that I fall in love. Cheers to your big day alec and Kate, here’s to eternity of love and I wish all of you the best, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for both of you🥂🎉
