Great couple of days in Melbourne, incredible first time experience at the tournament. Proudly watching @lore_musetti dominating @djokernole , until he got injured and forced to retire. What a performance that was!

Catching up with friends and eating our way through Melbourne is always a good idea. Couldn’t miss visiting @gimlet.melbourne , constantly delivering amazing experiences and delicious food. Quick pit stop at @emiliamelbourne ( Tortellini in Brodo are to die for ), before heading back home.

Thank you @cara.jayne and @aperolspritzau Fam for taking such a great care of us 🧡Already planning next year’s visit..

#2016 What a transformative decade. 2016 was the year that completely changed my career trajectory and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My world before hospitality was a world of fashion events, marketing and visual merch.
1) In 2016 I dined at a restaurant that changed it all and inspired me to shift career lanes. That restaurant was @restaurantfrantzen (at the time a small 2 star in old town) completely change how I imagine what fine dining could be. Truly amazing what the team have accomplished in the years since.
2) Came back to AUS and was lucky enough to start work with @petergunn501 and IDES. Forever grateful for the formative years
3) I even did 3 months in the kitchen to see how fine dining kitchens run. Was in the pea podding section a lot 😂
4) Event season working for en pointe events with the wonderful @therealroccotrimboli
5) @restaurantmirazur x @idesmelbourne collab for world 50 best 2017
6) A decade of runsheets
7) Lots of Hong Kong trips to see this crew @j.chinois @sebastiantrobinson
8) My favourite time learning from and working with @katie_shiff @lotuslandagency on all things PR

A little project of mine that started last year. I’m very proud of how this has come together. It’s about to be published by a little indie label. @sean__morris was my illustrator, and it was heaps of fun working with him on this project. I combined my love of writing with the knowledge and experience gained through my studies of wine through @wsetglobal and @court_of_master_sommeliers. My inspiration was master sommelier @yhirose1982 who was so generous with his time, trying to teach this dentist all about wine and service on random days at @societyrestaurant, sometimes alongside @loic_avril who was so nervous that I would drop his beautiful glassware 😆 I will do a proper launch when it’s about to hit the shops and internet #wine #wineliterature #sommelier #sommelierlife #writer #lovewine #book #published

After years of studies, sacrifices and tastings I’m beyond proud to have achieved this dream.
This journey has taken time, resilience, and unwavering dedication, but it has also given me friendships, lessons, and experiences that I will carry with me forever.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my biggest supporter my wife @mskalyopi and my study buddy @dante_thecavoodle without them both I wouldn’t be where I am today.
