@autoguyscott proposed on 4th of July under the fireworks! What an amazing surprise! And of course, Scott knows me better than I know myself, I had always told him if he proposed it had to be just us two, but no lol he did it in front of our entire family, cousins and friends and I’m so glad he did. It was very special and so much fun to celebrate our big moment with loved ones! ❤️💖❤️ I’m getting married! Thanks for being my partner, friend and co-parent! You take such good care of Jack and I! I don’t post post much but thought this way worth sharing!

Musical Score Review #61 - In Your Dreams

In Your Dreams was such a whirlwind adventure that shows such representations of how we envision dreams and nightmares whenever we sleep. Mr. Debney's score for this animated Netflix movie has delivered such emotion, suspense and grand excitement! Like the Wild Bed Ride track, it got such adventurous spiritual from heroic to chaotic as it has reminded me of the scene from the animated Little Nemo movie. It was like a creative symphonic combination between the styles of John Williams and Alan Silvestri. The different version of the song "Don't Cha" performed by the children chorus was quite joyful like it was almost heard from a theme park, but I was off-guard with goosebumps when the song suddenly turns dark in the very end as one of the nightmares began. For the track "Elliot, I'm Coming Home", it just had me reflecting that of all the dreams we wish we can make it come true, it always went out of reach, but we always make our dreams small so we can make it big in reality as long as you got people you love by your side always. In Your Dreams has gotten me so intrigued about how dreams work and how we envision to make it come to life in the real world or not and I congratulate Mr. Debney, Mr. Graham and the team for such a spectacle score. Also, I was not expecting Andre 3000's "Hey Ya" playing in the beginning! It's my childhood right there!

My score: 9/10

Last week we celebrated Garry’s birthday anniversary with a fundraiser in support of the theatre he built — originally the Falcon Theatre and now the Garry Marshall Theatre — a piece of his legacy that I’m honored to help champion as a proud founding board member.

We honored Yeardley Smith for her incredible support of the GMT and our work in the education space. We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Laverne & Shirley with Michael McKean and Natalie Lander, who performed a beautiful rendition of “Milwaukee Moon,” a tune Michael wrote for L&S many moons ago. ;-)

We raised money so we can keep going.
Keep Garry’s theatre alive and thriving.
Keep people working.
Keep kids learning.
Keep audiences entertained.

I am so proud of the work we’ve done and am looking forward to the holidays — starting with Lenny & The Squigtones opening this week, Irish Christmas on Dec 1st, and then our Jane Austen Regency Christmas.

Thank you all for your support — whether it’s by donation, attending a show, or simply offering a hug and a “keep going” (one of Garry’s mottos… #ifykyk)

Happy Birthday Anniversary, Garry.
Miss you every day.

(A couple old pic and party pic mixed in - love this one with Bob Boyett and Garry and me in Milwaukee many years ago. Michael and Natalie and a little bit of Milwaukee Moon. The dream team!!
Thank you @bobboyett and @murphydiane 💜🌟🙏
