Baleal •

About a year ago, I shot in the water for the first time.

These have been sitting in a folder ever since, waiting to be processed. I guess I didn’t know if they were good enough for a first attempt. Time has a way of softening the doubt. Maybe sometimes it’s okay to put things aside for a while, and then come back to them, and ourselves.

An autumn sunset on a beach break in the Atlantic Ocean - my fingers were about to fall off, and I could barely hold my breath long enough to press the shutter. As exciting as it was freezing.

They all look a little different. I didn’t want to over-edit them, but rather keep some of the raw feeling of those moments - floating in that space, somewhere between above and below the surface.

How beautiful it is to watch humans dancing on water?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge that day 🤍 @aina_elias + @itsonlywater

Now back to analog.
