As we approach our last night of Lola’s Kitchen at Roots, I cant help but get a little sentimental. Through the ups and downs, twists and turns, I take all the good that came out of this experience and I carry it with me moving forward. Thanks you again for all who made these last two and half years amazing at Lola’s Kitchen. Stay tuned for what comes next.

PS we have plenty of food for tonight. Get your last Kare Kare or Adobo fix. You know love my Bola Bola with home made Banana Ketchup or Lumpia with my house made Sawsawan too! 🔥

Hope to see you tonight for our last night at Roots. Doors open at 5, we sit until 8.

And for the last time at Roots…This is the MASAWRAP!! ❤️🇵🇭❤️🇵🇭❤️🇵🇭❤️🇵🇭❤️🇵🇭

Auggie had an incredible experience tonight. EVERYTHING was dairy free save for the cheesecake at the absolutely remarkable @lolaskitchendc ! By far some of the best food we have ever had. Chef Owen had a warmth to match the beautiful ambiance and otherworldly food. Thank you, Owen, for this magical experience! We will be BACK✨ Your grandma is smiling!

My nephew DC did a report in school on Filipinos who live abroad and he wrote about me. 🥹 Brought me to tears.
